Every season has its own charm with these tables made of Belgian limestone (Ashlar). The garden tables are low maintenance and weatherproof. The care and knowledge put in the production of our garden tables make them low maintenance: all you have to do is clean them once in a while.
Our tables have a cast iron base and a tabletop made of Belgian limestone (ashlar). This is a organogenic sedimentary rock which is approximately 2 million years old. Belgian limestone is characterized by the presence of shellfish fossils which give the material its distinctive character.
Another characteristic of this type of stone is that weather influences can cause veining and spots which mark the stone as authentic and natural, creating a beautiful individual look. This is a natural feature and has no influence whatsoever on the durability of the tabletop. Stains in the tabletop will naturally disappear after a period of time. In addition, the influence of sunlight will make the tabletop fade to a softer shade of grey.
If slight fading of the limestone is undesirable, a treatment with colour sealant could be a possible solution. This has no consequences for the maintenance of the tabletops. The tabletops are available in a variety of sizes and shapes and edges with various finishes.
